The members of UTKARSH, SMILE’s programme for women’s empowerment gathered together for their annual meeting to take stock of the year gone by and draw up plans for the one ahead.

Most of the women are parents of children enrolled in SMILE’s UDAAN programme, and the annual meeting coincides with the end of another academic year for the students too.

The broad outline of programmes that will be taken up in the new year i.e. April 2019 – March 2020, were discussed and finalised.
