Vahanati Vidhyalay in Gandhinagar, one of the schools adopted by SMILE to spread quality education in the rural areas, celebrated the festival of Janmashtami in the school premises.

The programme started with presentation on the festival and its significance. This was followed by special dance performances, plays and singing songs and ended with the ritual of breaking the Matki.
