SMILE Founder & President Mrs Anaxi Shah was one of the Empowered Women who received special commendation and were honoured at a function hosted by the Maharashtra Medical Council of G.T. Hospital Mumbai. She was honoured for her work as a Social Activist, and particularly for the various initiatives taken up by SMILE under her guidance, along with 15 other women achievers from various walks of life.

Those honoured included lawyers, bankers, CAs, businesswomen, advocates, government officials and other professionals.

During the function there was also a Panel Discussion on “Lifestyle related Health Problems in Adolescent Girls” in which medical practitioners, educationists and journalists shared their views.
